The Devotion of Suspect X
After reading the Millenium Trilogy" by Steig Larsson no other thrillers appeal to me... So honestly I was apprehensive before ordering this book from flipkart. Now I think it was a good decision actually.
You rarely come across a thriller where you know who is the killer and yet you cannot keep the book till you reach the last page. The Devotion of Suspect X is definitely one such book where you gets to know that the title suits this book perfectly.
The story starts with a murder. Enters the characters Yasuko Hanaoka, Misato, Ishigami, Kushinagi and Yukawa.
In the following chapters you gets to know...
"What is tougher? To make a problem that no one can solve? Or to see the answer of such a problem that has no answer?"
What if all the pieces fit a puzzle just perfectly, does that mean that is the right way to solve that puzzle?
What if the puzzle you are solving is not the puzzle you are supposed to solve actually?
Sounds confusing??? Yes, The devotion of Suspect X is confusing, gripping and an example of how to write a thriller.
They said it was "The Japanese Steig Larsson"..however I would like to say it was a creation of Keigo Higashino and we must not compare this with other books of this genre...
In the end just one question bothered me.... "How far can one go for love especially when there is no chance of the other person reciprocating the same thing? ......... "
You can get this book here in Flipkart
