Book review- Ninth House

I can’t remember the last time I devoured a fantasy or in general any book like this. I wanted not to sleep or eat or walk and just read and finish the book. I should thank Leigh Bardugo for bringing back that passion in me after a long gap.

Alex Stern is a crooked character who has been in the receiving end for far too long. She thought her life was changing when she was offered a chance to enter Yale. Enters Darlington and Turner. Enter Greys, hellbeasts, demons and portals.

Bardugo took me on an exciting yet heavy ride. Ninth House is no light read. It is dark and heavy. It gave me nightmares, literally.

It is a story about powers and different types of it. Who has which power and who rules who and how! Enthralling ride, this book was and I can’t wait for the next one in the series!
