I got to know about this series after watching the Netflix original. I LOVED it. That’s when I decided to read the novels.
The last wish is basically, compilation of Geralt of Rivia’s various adventures. Most of these adventures were shown in the Netflix series.
The Witcher has dwarves, dragons, sorcerers, Queens and everything people usually love in the fantasies. I can’t deny certain similarities or influences from Tolkien’s LOTR but Sapkowski opted for a more modern and interesting approach. The writing style is simple and Sapkowski has created the world skillfully. Can’t wait to read the other books of the series.
