Book review - Pet Sematary

Stephen King himself has called Pet Sematary his scariest book. In fact, he said, he was thinking of not publishing this one and after reading the book, I know why.

This is undoubtedly the creepiest book I've ever read. No it doesn't have clowns or rotten flesh from a bathing tub or any such things. What this book offers is pure creep.

Have you ever lost someone and thought that you could go to any length if you could bring back that person? Do you have pets or did you ever have one? This book plays with some fundamental feelings that we humans have and nurture and this book took those feelings and demonized them in the most horrific way possible. Is the demon inside or outside? How far can you go to "save" the people you love? This is definitely King's one of the most well written books which doesn't slow down at any place. It's suffocating and depressing often that you would like to take a coffee/oxygen break.

I was glued to this book and I must say, this book offers one of the most interesting endings for a horror novel.

Saying more than this about this novel will give spoiler and I absolutely do not want that. If you are looking for some real horror, that will send shiver down your spine, "Pet Sematary" should be your next read.
