There is no question about Agatha Christie's magic. The murder of Roger Ackroyd has garnered many polar opinions among the readers. For me it was a thrilling and relaxing read.
A narrator, who is a part of the story. Mr. Poirot. The intriguing characters. Country house settings. Roger Ackroyd offers very little to not to like.
I loved every bit of it. It was engaging and absolutely a timeless jewel for the mystery lovers.
Every character got its space and every character is complex. For some time, you suspect each of them and in the end the conclusion is a Shocker! Just what you expect in a mystery novel.
