Book review- Revival

Very few can weave horror the way Stephen King does, intimate, personal and in simple things.
This book is raw, plays with basic emotions and I was reading because it was so fluidic I couldn't put it down.

It starts when a 6years old boy is playing in the dirt with his toy shoulders and a shadow cast on him. It remained there for the rest of his life.

Horror has a special place in my heart and King is also the King of my heart. I love almost everything he writes.

He was accused of going "soft" for some time now, and with Revival it is his revival too and he proved, soft is not what his writing can be blamed of.

Revival is personal. It shows curiosity kills but to be curious is to be human only. Once again King played with the eternal concept of life and death and oh so deliciously.

I asked myself, "Do I despise Charlie Jacob?"
My answer was a straight "NO" . He was just a mere human being with questions in his mind and that's why I felt empathy and pain for him and that's what makes Revival such a treat to read.
