Sarah's key- a profound, well-written novel that will engross you.
Historical fiction has always been a favorite of mine. Tatiana De Rosnay managed to build up the tension, the connection between 1942 Paris and 2002 Paris beautifully. I didn't know much about the Round ups and France's 'actual' involvement in it, before reading the book.
Paris plays like a character here. I loved first 2/3rd of the book. However, toward the end on certain the two timelines dissolved, the pace and the plot somehow lost a bit of its charm.
My rating - 3.5/5
